BIRTH: 1953, Shanghai, P. R. China
EDUCATION: Master of Fine Arts, San Jose State University, San Jose, CA; Master of Arts, Majored in Ceramics. University of Minnesota-Duluth. MN; and Jingan University, Shanghai, China, Majored in Chinese Literature.
PROFESSIONAL AND TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
  1999-present Founder and Director of the Chinese Ceramic Art Council, USA, the Chinese Clay Art, USA, and manager and instructor of the Clayground, A Ceramic Art School and Studio.
  1978-1988 Changning Arts and Crafts Factory, Shanghai, China.

  2006.2 Book Works by Ceramic Artists from Around the World, Member of the Editing Committee, compiled over 30 international artists for the book. Sponsored by the Jingdezhen Municipality of China, the book was published by Shanghai Fine Arts Publishing House, China, 2006, and it contents two volumes, the first volume is 228 Chinese Artists from all over the country which including Hang Kong and Taiwan; the second volume is Foreign Artists which including 220 artists from 16 countries.

The book is in both English and Chinese, and contains ceramics information for Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, such as Chinese ceramic historical kiln sites, ceramic related museums, galleries, studios, schools, organizations, factories, ceramic magazines, plus the maps of these areas and other information for travelers.
